Seven intense Days at the StarLine stand have come to an end, with a total of 508,000 visitors attending the show! We never imagined such an incredible turnout. Interest in the latest innovations in modern vehicle security technology was immense, attracting not only private customers but also potential dealers and insurance representatives.


 Represented by its French distributor, SPA Auto France, the StarLine team showcased an impressive array of advanced vehicle security features, each seamlessly integrated through CAN bus technology to fit modern automotive systems. These latest StarLine technologies were demonstrated on a Mercedes CL63 AMG toy model that captured the attention of all who visited.

 

StarLine’s interfaces, including the mobile app and tracking platform, now fully support French. Users can control their vehicles through the "StarLine 2" App, text messages, or even voice commands—all in French.


Here’s a breakdown of StarLine's key security functions that were demonstrated:

  • Engine Blocking via CAN: This invisible, CAN-based technology prevents the engine from starting under unauthorized conditions, significantly enhancing anti-theft protection.
  • Factory Keyless Blocking via CAN: Designed to counter relay attacks, StarLine’s technology disables the keyless entry system when system is armed.
  • Gearbox Blocking via CAN: This immobilization feature prevents the vehicle from shifting gears if a theft attempt is detected.

    • Alongside these security measures, the demo model highlighted StarLine’s convenient remote functions, all accessible via the "StarLine 2" mobile App:


  • Engine Remote Start: Attendees observed how drivers could start the vehicle remotely, simulating pre-heating or cooling of the interior.
  • Remote Climate Control: Using the app, users adjusted the interior temperature of the demo car, showcasing the convenience of climate control on demand.
  • GPS Positioning: Real-time tracking on the toy car demonstrated the GPS positioning feature, illustrating how owners could monitor their car’s location for added security.
  • Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates and Configuration: This feature enabled seamless updates and adjustments to the toy car’s system, highlighting the convenience of maintaining an up-to-date security system without the need for a service visit.
