Did you know a customer can switch on extra protection only when he needs it?

You don't want a code every morning. For one night in a big city, you do. Risky Parking is switched on by you, only when you want it.
Most owners don't live in a high-risk place. Codes, immobiliser prompts, an extra step every morning: for the daily routine in a small town, that's friction nobody wants. But sooner or later your car gets parked overnight in a big city, and for that one night you'd happily accept all of it.
That is what Risky Parking is for. You turn it on yourself with the service button, and it stays on until you turn it off. While it's active, every ignition-on in disarmed state requires your authorisation code, entered on the car's own buttons, regardless of how the immobiliser is configured in the system.
Two things to know:
- You set the code once, yourself, using a combination of buttons that your particular car reports over CAN. Ask your installer to show you how at handover. It takes five minutes.
- Don't skip it. Many owners never discover this feature, or trigger it by accident and wonder why the car keeps asking for a code.
Learn it once, and you have a protection mode that costs nothing in daily life and is there for the nights when you need it.
