Did you know you can leave notes for yourself inside the unit?

That car comes back in two years. Do you remember what you did to it? StarLine Master lets you write notes straight into the unit, what you set, what you left ready, what the next person needs to know.
StarLine Master has an Installer Memo section. The obvious fields are there: date, job ticket, vehicle, VIN, who did the work, Warranty period, but the part that earns its keep is the comment box underneath. It's free text, and it stays in the device, in the car.
Write what you actually did. Which functions you set and why. What you left prepared for later, the wire you ran and parked, the upgrade the customer said no to this time. What the next person needs to know before touching anything. It is the same instinct as commenting your code: you are not writing for today, you are writing for whoever opens this up next.
Sometimes that person is you, eighteen months later, with no memory of this car at all. Sometimes it's a colleague, or another workshop entirely, a camper that gets installed in one country and serviced in another. Either way, the car arrives already explaining itself.
